About me
I am junior professor for Data Stream Management and Analysis in the Department of Computer Science at RWTH Aachen University since September 2021. I received my doctoral degree in Computer Science from the RWTH Aachen University in 2016.
My research group works on topics in the following fields:
- Methods and architectures for distributed data stream management and analysis specifically on the edge
- Knowledge-driven data ecosystems
- Data quality management
- Research data management and FAIR principles
- Data transparency
I am a principal investigator in the following projects:
The group is affiliated with the Chair of Information Systems and Databases (Computer Science 5) headed by Prof. Stefan Decker.
Furthermore, I am head of the research group Digital Health Spaces at the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Information technology FIT. Our research is focused on research in Data Ecosystems especially in the fields of healthcare and medicine covering topics of Data quality and metadata management, patient-centered design and data sovereignty, data exchange and data integration, mobile and web applications.
